After the years of bad eating habits during my teens had taken a toll on my body and started interfering with my work, I began experimenting with smoothies. Fruits at first and eventually  fruits and vegetables with exotic superfoods to top them off. After about 5 years of expirementing with various ingredients and recipes and a significantly noticeable improvement in my health, I created Smoov to share these healthy, delicious and convenient  blends with the go-getters around the world- to fuel and empower them- in hopes of inspiring them to keep going.

Superfoods can be fruits, seeds, grasses, seaweeds or leaves that are high in a variety of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes, proteins and healthy fats. Most of which are not readily available in North America.

Canada's food guide recommends 7-10 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. However, over half of Canadians get fewer than 5 servings a day. This micronutrient deficiency could lead to all sorts of health issues like fatigue and other illnesses. Adding nutrient-rich foods like those found in all Smoov blends can have a positive impact on your health and wellness.

Some of our customers have experienced weight loss by incorporating our blends into their diet. Our mission however is to make healthy eating fun and easy and a good diet in addition to an active lifestyle can lead to various health benefits, of which, a healthy weight is one.

While nothing beats a freshly cooked meal, we understand that life gets busy. This was one of the main reasons Smoov was created- a convenient way to get your nutrition on-the-go and in between meals, to avoid long periods of not eating. 

The ingredients in our blends are from all over the world and places they are usually native to. They are grown in a 100% organic and non-GMO manner and tested for pesticides, heavy metals and microbiology. Since we feel you should know exactly where the ingredients are from and how our blends are created, we have outlined the process and country of origin for each ingredient here. 

There are 6 steps in the journey our blends take before arriving at your doorstep.

Step 1. Small producers around the world grow these wonderful fruits, vegetables and superfoods
Step 2. After they are harvested sustainably, they are immediately put through stringent testing for pesticides, microbiology and heavy metals.
Step 3. The fruits, vegetables and superfoods are then washed, peeled, sliced, and then either freeze-dried or naturally dried (below 45°C) to preserve upto 95% of their nutrients.
Step 4. The dried ingredients are then gently milled into powders.
Step 5. The powdered ingredients then make their way to us in Toronto, Canada!
Step 6. After receiving the powdered ingredients, we oversee quality control. We mix and pack our blends in small batches by hand. This is done to avoid the use of flow agents and serves as a way for us to maintain the consistency and quality of each batch.

The blends arrive at your doorstep- ready to be mixed, sprinkled, blended, baked or cooked with.

All our fruits, vegetables and superfoods are grown in either a 100% organic or truly wild and GMO-free manner. This is not only great for the environment and integrity of the soil, but the resulting product also contains more nutrients and antioxidants!

Our blends are 100% plant-based making them suitable for people of all diets and lifestyles. They are made from fruits and vegetables, no fillers, additives and definitely no animal products or by-products.

Most of our blends are safe for people on Keto and Paleo diets. However, please check the ingredients and nutrition labels on the back of each blend to ensure that you stay within your dietary and macronutritional requirements (i.e sugar and carbs on keto)

The wonderful thing about fruits and vegetables is that they are naturally free from gluten and dairy. This means that our blends can be enjoyed by people with gluten and dairy sensitivities or allergies.

Even our green blend- made from alfalfa, barley, oat and wheat grass! This is because the actual grass itself, which is juiced to create our powder, does not contain gluten. Gluten is only found in the seed kernels of the plant.

Our blends are made from just fruits, vegetables and superfoods- no "natural" flavours, fillers, additives, preservatives or anything else. 

Some of our blends are slightly sweet- Blush, Berry Exotic and our Euphoric blend. That's thanks to the natural sugars from the fruits and superfoods inside them. We have chosen to leave it up to you to adjust the sweetness to your liking. 

Our fuel blend contains  natural caffeine from guarana seeds- so avoid this blend if you are trying to avoid caffeine or have a high sensitivity to it. While friends, family and customers have used our blends as part of a healthy diet while pregnant/nursing, it is best for you to decide or check with a healthcare practitioner.

The euphoric blend, green blend, berry exotic and golden blend are the blends used most often by parents to help sneak in those much needed greens! When you leave it up to the kids, they enjoy our wave and blush blend, as they are our most vibrant blends. They are both included in our fun bundle.

Our fuel blend, however, contains natural caffeine from guarana seeds, so this blend is not recommended for children. 

Naturally great! And they don't contain any "natural" flavours or added sugar.

- Our green blend has a slightly green/earthy, creamy taste
- Our euphoric blend has a rich chocolatey taste, with a hint of caramel (from the Mesquite)
- Our berry exotic blend has a slightly sweet and tangy, berry taste
- Our blush blend has a slightly sweet, berry taste
- Our wave blend has a mild chai taste, with a hint of cinnamon
- Our golden blend has a slightly sweet taste, with a hint of citrus (from the Camu Camu berry)

Our blends were made for convenient, everyday use. Mix it with water, milk, juices, oatmeal, yogurt or dips. Blend it with smoothies. Sprinkle over snacks, salads or meals. You can even cook or bake with them. Feel free to check out our go-to recipes here.

Using pure and high quality ingredients with no additives whatsoever makes our blends extremely nutrient dense. Our suggested serving size of roughly 1-2 tsp or 5 g gives you a substantial amount of your daily vitamins and minerals. However you can go ahead and help yourself to a few more on days you feel you really need it. Listen to your body!

Ofcourse! My favourite combo is the green blend with the euphoric blend. They help me get my nutrients in early and put me in a great mood.

They are best stored sealed in a cool and dry place. Avoid heat and sunlight.

Please note that on some occassions, orders will be marked as delivered before they are actually delivered. This is because it received a final 'delivered' scan but could not make it that day due to slight delays with your local delivery personnel (weather, more deliveries than anticipated, after-hours etc.).

Not to worry, your package is very close by and will be there in the next 1-3 business days. Packages are only considered missing after they haven't moved in 15 business days and the chances of a package going missing are extremely low. We thank you for your patience!

If you receive a package with a product that has been damaged during shipping, please contact us at info@smoov.ca within one week of receiving your package. Damaged products include a pouch that arrived with a broken seal or a hole/puncture while in transit. 

Due to the nature of our products, we are not able to offer returns or exchanges on orders already placed or received.

Please note that due to weather (rain/snow) and/or safety/theft reasons, Canada Post may occasionally deliver your package to the community mailbox or local post office.
